Overpopulated Los Angeles: In a Speculative scenario, Downtown Los Angeles experienced a massive migration which increased its population to 5,00,000 people. Due to this drastic change, new species of spaces emerged to provide for the need of public space.

Communal LA,  reevaluates its role, and proposes a new tipe of configuration. Communal housing  emerges as an effort to provide shelter for the largest amount of people.  Spaces become oversaturated with textures and formalism to stimulate and encourage its users for social interaction.  The enviroment generated by these species  propagates  throughout the city.
